MWIR and FIR Beam Profiling

DataRay's ISO 11146 compliant beam profilers cover a wide range of MWIR and FIR wavelengths, up to 16 µm. The ideal solution depends on your application and the wavelength(s) involved.

650 nm to 2.5 µm

For XY profiling in this range, we recommend a scanning slit beam profiler. The Beam’R2 and BeamMap2 offer several detector options, including dual-detector versions (Si and extended range strained layer InGaAs), which provide high sensitivity and XY (Beam'R2) or XYZΘΦ (BeamMap2) profiling on beams 2 mm and smaller.

2 to 16 µm

DataRay's unique WinCamD-IR-BB with 17 µm pixels offers versatile IR profiling over a wide MWIR/FIR range. With accessories, this camera can handle powers up to 1 kW (when integrated into DataRay's Industrial Laser Monitoring System, for example). The WinCamD-IR-BB is also ideal for the measurement of quantum cascade lasers.
