DataRay Inc. Announces WinCamD-IR-BB Broadband 2 to 16 µm MWIR/FIR Beam Profiler System
Redding, CA USA, August 4, 2017 – DataRay Inc., the worldwide leader in laser beam profiling and analysis, is pleased to announce the availability of a new, broadband 2 to 16 µm MWIR/FIR beam profiler system: the WinCamD-IR-BB. This highly-anticipated system includes the following features:
- Broadband 2 to 16 µm VOx microbolometer
- 640 x 480, 10.88 x 8.16 mm active area
- 17 µm pixels
- Port-powered USB 3.0, 3 m screw locking cable
- 30 FPS update rate (7.5 FPS for export)
- Integrated shutter for automated NUC
- 14-bit ADC
- 14 ms time constant – Pulsed lasers with PRR = 1 kHz appear as CW
- No chopper/TEC
- Parallel capture on multiple cameras
- M² measurements
The WinCamD-IR-BB is paired with DataRay’s full-featured, highly customizable, user-centric software (which has no license fees, unlimited installations, and free software updates). It is ideally suited for a number of applications, including: MWIR/FIR/CO₂ laser profiling; Field servicing of MWIR/FIR/CO₂ lasers and laser-based systems; optical assembly & instrument alignment; beam wander & logging; and M² measurement with available M2DU stage.
